Dr. Hudimac was born and raised right here in Latrobe.  He has provided dental care to area residents since returning to Latrobe in 1992.  He earned his undergraduate degree at West Virginia University and his dental degree at West Virginia School of Dentistry. Continually attending continuing education courses enables Dr. Hudimac to stay at the forefront of his profession so that he can provide optimal care to his patients.  He attends courses focusing on comprehensive, conservative, esthetic, and restorative care in all areas of dentistry so that the most current treatment options are available to his patients.  His professional associations membership includes American Dental Association (ADA), Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry (PAGD), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).


For recreation, he enjoys reading, gardening with his wife, has been a skiing enthusiast for over 40 years, and plays golf as best as he can. Dr Hudimac resides in Latrobe with Lorrie, his high school sweetheart who he married in 1985. She is a registered nurse at Independence Health and also the office manager here at our office.

In July 2008, Dr. Hudimac received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires the recipient to complete 500 hours of continuing dental education and pass a 400 question comprehensive exam covering sixteen areas of general dentistry.

In 2010, he received his Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry, which required an additional 500 hours of continuing education, much of it being hands-on experiences, in all areas of general dentistry. In 2010, Dr. Hudimac also received the Fellowship award from the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the largest institutional organization dedicated to dental implant education.

In 2015, Dr. Hudimac completed the Dental Implant Residency, a one year online program co-sponsored by the State University of New York Dental School of Buffalo which required completing a 300 hour video teaching program covering all aspects of dental implant treatment.

In 2017, Dr. Hudimac received the Associate Fellowship award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. This meant passing both written and oral exams, as well as presenting his own cases showing experience in a wide range of dental implant treatment.

Dr. Hudimac has always been involved in various associations and organizations within the dental community. In 2019, he became the President of the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry with a term of one year, and continues to work closely with the PAGD.
